"So ... what's the cleaning difference?"
Dry cleaning is a surface cleaning only. A carpet bonnet and scrubber are used to transfer the soil. The carpet will be dry in approx. two hours. Please know that if the carpet is moderately to heavily soiled, we find the dry cleaning process inadequate, rendering less than desirable results.
Steam cleaning is a deep, thorough cleaning. When complete, the carpet is left damp not soaked. Depending on type and thickness of carpet, degree of soiling, indoor airflow and humidity, the carpet may take 4 to 24 hours to dry completely.
Most carpet manufacturers recommend hot water extraction to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of their carpets.
The cost for both processes is the same ... In most cases, we recommend steam cleaning. We can come to the job prepared for both, should the customer be undecided.
We also offer complete carpet sales and installation for all types of residential and commercial needs. Our full selection of carpet samples gives you many choices of colors, styles and textures for the smallest home to apartment complexes and other commercial buildings. Expert installation comes with a written guarantee. Contact us today for more information.
